This activity led me to join Simulation Council, Inc. (SCI), a non-profit professional organization, which was founded by John McLeod in early 1950s, and which name was later changed to the Society of Computer Simulation International, according to my suggestion. In 1970, as Program Chairman, I created the Summer Computer Simulation Conference (SCSC) (which I named) of the SCI. The SCSC later became the largest conference in the simulation field.
