Subject: Re My Earlier Message Today

Dear Prof. Utsumi-san:

I Have just gone through the infoDev application template. My initial reaction is that it would be best if we used a specific pilot project to demonstrate that we can actually converge knowledge and integrate with local situations. Therefore, my earlier attachment (today) on connectivity for health (rural telehealth) would be more suitable to the template than my overarching proposal. I will supplement the health proposal (filename heal-pro.rtf) with the basic school education component (which is also ready) and which I will froward to you separately tomorrow. I am working remotely at present and cannot access my files to attach at the moment. I will hybridize the basic school connectivity scheme with the health program (which is targeted to an entire community) subsequently. The main component of this proposal would be the information feeder route (or mobile connectivity van) which would allow sharing of convergent tools among a number of rural schools, based on scheduled "stops" along the route. That is until each school can be physically connected.

Thus, the contents of the filename "aki" which is the overarching program would be discussed with another funding agency?

I am sorry I am dumping so much on you.

Best wishes for what is left of your holiday week-end.

John Afele
