Dear John:
==========

(1)  Many thanks for your msg (ATTACHMENT I) with URL of Agilent Technologies.

Dear Mr. Otahara:
=================

(2)  I found your name and address at the above URL.

(3)  I would like to respectfully inquire your help for our telemedicine
     demonstration during our workshop in Manila, Philippines (date has not been set yet).

          This workshop is to establish the Global University System in the
          Philippines, which is a subset of the Asia/Pacific regional
          operation of our Global University System.

(4)  The telepresence demonstration with echocardiography will be performed
     at the workshop by the Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia University in
     New York.  The echocardiograph image of a patient on a tread mill in
     Manila/Philippines will be sent to the Presbyterian Hospital for
     diagnosis, as we did during our Tampere event in Finland last August
     <http://www.uta.fi/EGEDL/> (*).  However, this time, the 3D image of his
     heart will also be constructed as an upgraded feature, which can be cut
     into a half to examine its inside.  The images will be disseminated to
     the participants around the world via ISDN and Internet.

          (*)  Pls click Roger Boston's web in the home page of this site.
          Then, click August 9 in the left column.

          You can then click Telemedicine1 and Telemedicine2 at the top of
          the right-hand side column to view video clipping of our
          echocardiograph demonstration with Presbyterian Hospital of
          Columbia University in New York with PictureTel via ISDN at 384 Kbps.

          In this home page, pls also click "FINAL REPORT OF THE
          CONFERENCE."  Then go to "IV. Compilation of comments:" in PART I.
          Then click Shin Takuma on October 8th.  You can then find Dr.
          Takuma's (Presbyterian Hospital) report of this demonstration.

(5)  I would like to inquire you;

     (a)  name and address of Agilent representative in Manila,

     (b)  who has HP-5500 echocardiograph machine in Manila?

     (c)  if there is none in the Philippines, can you loan it?

(6)  BTW, Raj Gururaja of our Agilent Technologies in Hong Kong kindly
     offered a videoconferencing bridge for our Tampere event free of charge.
     However, we could not locate HP-5500 in Finland, so that we had to use
     Aloka (Japanese made) machine, and a bridge of PictureTel in England.

     Raj then kindly introduced a Brazilian representative Ms. Mariana Tolovi
     <mariana_tolovi@agilent.com> for a similar telemedicine demonstration in
     Manaus/Amazona on May 31, June 1 and 2.

          Agilent is going to provide our Brazilian colleague with a S4
          Transducer, Sonos 5500 and the 500 Mhz CPU (from HP) and she is in
          coordination with Echotec to arrange the software which produce 3D
          image of a heart.
