Dear Ellie:
===========

(1)  Many thanks for your msg (ATTACHMENT I).

(2)  I have problems to meet with your request.

     (a)  Fist of all, I am an old timer using WordPerfect before the
          time when it was pushed over by Word of Microsoft.

          Therefore, although I have Word in my Mac, I am not familiar with
          its use -- it is only for my reading attachments to email msgs.

Besides that, my web pages were all made by GoLive web authoring software.
Therefore, converting them into Word, and your re-converting them into your
web pages seem a lot of wasting time.
          Also, as you might have noticed, the web pages have a lot of
          linkages to other web sites, particularly to <http://www.uta.fi/EGEDL>
          and <http://www.kagawa-jc.ac.jp/~steve_mc/asia-pacific/index.html>, etc.

               In a sense, our report is not like the hard copy type in
               linear fashion, but highly non-linear with many hyperlinks
               with multimedia pages.

     (b)  Also, the report web has many, many pages, i.e.;

          1.   The folder of the compilation of comments alone  7.1 Mbytes
          2.   The folder of the pilot project proposals alone  1.5 Mbytes
          3.   Total file                                       9.2 Mbytes

(3)  Therefore, the best way may be;

     (a)  You download PART I/Section II-1 (Summary) and -2 (Conduct of
          event) and upload to your web site with your format, and you may
          link the rest to our web site at:

          <http://www.friends-partners.org/GLOSAS/Tampere_Conference/Final_Report/Tampere_Event/Final_Report.html>.

     (b)  Otherwise, I would be very happy to send you the complete total
          file folder (9.2 Mbytes) -- preferably in evening at off-peak hour
          when the line will not have much noise to be cut-off in the middle
          of my file transfer.

               However, you would need a GoLive software to read them.

     Pls let me know which way you would prefer.

Dear Electronic Colleagues:
===========================

(4)  Pls let me know if you have any good idea to meet with Ellie's request.

Thanks in advance.

Best, Tak
