Dear Tunji:
===========

(1) Many thanks for your msg (ATTACHMENT I). Yes, it was my great pleasure
to have met with you at the Columbia seminar, too.

(2) I am also very happy to know of your willingness to initiate the
connection with Nigeria for our Global University System project.

For this, I would suggest that you follow the suit of our Filipino
counterparts as indicated in my previous list distribution;

"GUS/Philippines coalition formed in Manila, 10/25-31/00 - November 15,
2000" which can be retrieved at

http://www.friends-partners.org/~utsumi/gu-l/mid-2000/11-15-a.html

(3) As the first step, pls explore followings;

(a) Locate interest groups in Nigeria -- preferably higher education
institutions which have Leland connections at 128 Kbps,

(b) Some institutions who can invite me for an initial face-to-face
mtg for planning a workshop/demonstrations.

(c) Locate their preferred counterpart educational institutions in
North America, since we prefer to have a pair of institutions in
both side, i.e., one in North America (or Europe) and the other in Nigeria.

(4) As mentioned during our mtg, you can find materials of our Global
University System (GUS), Global Broadband Internet (GBI) and Global
Service Trust Fund (GSTF) projects at Reference web sites:" at

http://www.friends-partners.org/GLOSAS/Global_University/Global%20University%20System/Reference_web_sites.html

Pls retrieve my full paper on GUS there -- which hard copy I
showed to you at the Columbia seminar.

Pls have a very fruitful trip to Nigeria and I look forward to hearing the
result of your trip.

Best, Tak

P.S.:
(a) I received another scam email msg from Nigeria last night.
