Dear Steve:
===========

(1) Many thanks for your msg (ATTACHMENT I) with a very interesting paper
gLearning: The New e-Learning Frontier."

(2) I took the liberty of uploading it at
http://www.friends-partners.org/GLOSAS/Global_University/Guideline/List_of_Materials.html

You will find there the following two versions;

(a) gLearning: The New e-Learning Frontier (Modified version with GoLive5),

(b) gLearning: The New e-Learning Frontier (Direct conversion from WORD).

The former is a copy-and-past version from your WORD paper to GoLive5,
but I am afraid if I might have lost some of XTML.

Pls also check my corrected figure numbers.

Therefore, I made a direct conversion from WORD file as storing it to
web page. However, as you see, its format was completely mixed-up --
pls check it with Netscape and Internet Explorer since they come up in
different formats.

Pls let me know if the former is all right. If not, pls send me your
original file which can be converted correctly to web page -- or better
yet, pls let me know your URL of this paper so that I will link to it.

Dear Jim:
=========

(3) Many thanks for your very interesting slides about your LINCOS and HP projects.

I uploaded them to;
http://www.friends-partners.org/GLOSAS/Manaus%20Workshop/LINCOS%20Project/LINCOS_Project.html

Dear Eric:
==========

(4) Many, many thanks for your quickly fixing Jim's original file yesterday,
since its standard conversion did not produce note section of Slide #1
and #2 of LINCOS project file -- probably due to some damage made during
its transit.

(5) As you suggested, inserting a blank slide at the beginning and hiding it
corrected the trouble.

However, the font of the note became too small to read so that I had to
adjust their individual files with GoLive5.

It would be nice if there is a way so that we can adjust their settings
for font sizes before uploading.

Dear Ihor:
==========

(6) Many thanks for your excellent slides.

I took the liberty of uploading them to;
http://www.friends-partners.org/GLOSAS/Ukraine%20Workshop/Ihor's_Slides/PresentationGUS.htm

Dear e-Colleagues:
==================

(7) I suggest that you visit those web sites for your reference.

Best, Tak

Subject: LINCOS and HP World e-Inclusion

From: Jim Sheats <sheats@hpl.hp.com>

Hello Tak,

We have some updated slides on our projects, which if you could
replace the ones you have on your website with these it would be greatly
appreciated. If it is possible and appropriate, introducing the LINCOS
set with the World e-Inclusion set would perhaps help the viewer know
more of what HP is trying to do.

With best regards,
Jim
