Dear Ms. Veloso:

(1) Many thanks for your msg.

(2) The schedule is fine with me.

(3) I wonder if I can have any chance to visit universities in Cebu to
ask their formation of a coalition to have broadband Internet with the
US (or Japan) -- as our colleagues in Manila have done -- see
"GUS/Philippines coalition formed in Manila, 10/25-31/00 - November 15, 2000" at
http://www.friends-partners.org/~utsumi/gu-l/mid-2000/11-15-a.html

(4) You told me that there are many Japanese firms in Cebu. If so, are
there any Japanese school for Japanese children? If so, it might be a
good idea to visit their principals, too. We may be able to get funds
from Japanese government for their connection with Japanese schools in
Japan. This may also help to your school, albeit it may be indirectly.

Best, Tak
