Dear Valentina:
===============

(1) Many thanks for your msg (ATTACHMENT I).

(2) Yes, I think that the broadband wireless and satellite Internet would be
the way to go, especially in your country.

(3) Pls visit followings;

(a) Global Broadband Internet Networks at:

(b) Section 8 of Global University System
Paper to be presented at The 14th Annual Conference of The Asian
Association of Open Universities at The University of
Philippines/Open University, Manila, Philippines, 25-27 October 2000, at:

(c) UNIDO conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - January 21, 2000 at
<http://www.friends-partners.org/~utsumi/gu-l/early-2000/index.html>.

(4) As Item (3)-(c) mentions, the UNIDO people also want to have the same
in your country so that you may cooperate with them.

(5) You may also find that the Global Development Learning Network of the
World Bank has an office in your town which has Internet access -- see
<http://www.worldbank.org/distancelearning/gdln/>.

(6) In order to share the cost of deploying broadband Internet, it is wise
to form a coalition in your area/country.

For this, we suggest that you hold a series of workshops for site
survey, feasility study, market survey, etc.

(7) Pls feel free to ask me any further questions.

Best, Tak
